Ohio Issue No. 2 (1987) was a measure regarding state assistance for local governments. It passed with 70.8% of voters in favor.
Text of the proposal
Permit the state to finance or assist local governments in financing the construction of improvements of roads and bridges, waste water treatment systems, water supply systems, solid waste disposal facilities, and storm water and sanitary collection, storage and treatment facilities (Art. VIII, Sec. 2k)
