Mike Hubbard (b. February 11, 1962) is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing the 79th district, Lee County. He was first elected in 1998 and currently serves as Speaker of the House, along with being Chairman of the Alabama Republican Party.

Hubbard is the President of International Sports Properties Auburn Project. He previously worked as President of Auburn Network, Incorporated (1994-2003), General Manager of Host Communications (1990-1994), and Associate Sports Information Director for Auburn University (1984-1990).

He is a member of the Alabama Broadcasters' Association, Auburn-Opelika Airport Advisory Board, Auburn United Methodist Church, Auburn Chamber of Commerce, and the Auburn Kiwanis Club.[1]

In May 2011, Governing Magazine named Hubbard one of 17 "GOP Legislators to Watch." Each of the legislators was selected on the basis of qualities like leadership, ambition, and political potential.[2]

Hubbard's answers to the Alabama State Legislative Election 2006 National Political Awareness Test are available. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected. He did not answer when asked his top legislative priorities.[3]
