Marci Francisco is a Democratic member of the Kansas State Senate, representing the 2nd District since 2005. She was Mayor of the Lawrence, Kansas from 1981-1983 and City Commissioner from 1979-1983.

Francisco works as an analyst for the KU Center for Sustainability.

Francisco graduated from the University of Kansas in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Design and again in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in Architecture.
