Jene Vickrey is a Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 6th district. He has been in the House since 1993, and currently serves as State House Speaker Pro Tempore.

Vickrey has served on the American Legion Exchange Council, National Federation of Independent Businessmen and Springhill Chamber of Commerce. He was also a charter member of the Louisberg Rotary Club.[1]

Policy Positions

Vickrey refused to take Project Vote Smart's Political Courage Test. The test, which is administered to all candidates for presidential, congressional, gubernatorial, and state legislative offices, asks one central question - "Are you willing to tell citizens your positions on the issues you will most likely face on their behalf?"[2]
