From the editor
I'd like to introduce myself to our readers, as this is my second issue since I've taken over as editor of the Ballotpedia Review. My name is Al Ortiz and I've been working on the website for five months as a staff writer and reporter. I cover breaking ballot measure news, articles about recall efforts, and the history of statewide ballot measures in several states.
In October 2009, I traveled to the Pine Tree State to cover some of the less-talked-about statewide measures on Maine's November 3, 2009 ballot.
On BP Review, I'll be covering significant developments in ballot measures, and also spotlighting people and events in our growing community of Ballotpedia editors, reporters and volunteers.
