The number of ballot measures certified to appear on statewide ballots has grown from 90 to 97 since March 30, according to Ballotpedia's Tuesday Count.
Legislatures in Florida, Maine and Washington approved ballot measures for the November 2, 2010 statewide ballots; two of them related to bond issues. The Florida Class Size Amendment asks for voters to change the Florida Constitution's current "'maximum' class sizes to school-wide 'average' class sizes." Maine's Jobs Bond Issue is a $57.8 million bond package for highway projects, harbor and energy projects. The Washington Public Works Bond Measure, although similar in dollar amount to the Maine bond, would direct funds for energy-efficiency renovations at schools around the state.
